Scotty has been making videos for as long as he can remember. Growing up an hour outside Chicago, Illinois, he would spend countless hours making movies with his family and friends.

Scotty got his professional start after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in digital filmmaking from the University of Colorado. He has a diverse set of experience in different mediums, having interned at a video production company, editing for big-name YouTube channels, creating short narrative and documentary films, creating social content for influential organizations, and more.

He currently works as a full-time video editor at Rate, where he creates social media marketing content for various campaigns at the company and its subsidiary brands.
